Bowen Ten Cardani (Richmond and Hanover) is seeking an associate attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience for our Ashland office. The ideal candidate will have a portable practice with an emphasis in family law, business and general litigation. A Virginia law license and strong writing skills are required.

Receptionist Job

West End Richmond (Innsbrook area): Bowen Ten Cardani is seeking a full-time receptionist M-F 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. You will be the first point of contact for our firm. You must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks. You will greet and welcome guests and clients, answer incoming phone calls, provide general administrative support for attorneys, maintain and schedule our conference rooms, maintain our lobby, receive, sort and distribute mail and incoming faxes, accept client payments as well as other clerical/secretarial tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning and faxing as requested.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and a polished demeanor are necessary. Strong communication, spelling and grammar skills are required. Attention to detail, positive attitude, patience and respect for confidentiality are important. Familiarity with legal jargon and an understanding of legal documents is crucial to the job.

Education/Experience Required: Associates Degree (or equivalent); law firm or other front desk experience in a professional office; completion of a paralegal education program; strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel (experience using legal practice management and accounting software like Practice Master and TABS III is a plus); experience operating office equipment including computers, copier, scanner and fax machines. You must pass a background check.
